Carmen and Andrew at American Beach

When Carmen emailed me about her wedding three weeks before her event, I was surprised and excited to tell her I was available and would love to photograph her wedding! We quickly set up a FaceTime date so we could discuss her and her fiancé's vision on their wedding day and how they would like it captured. We instantly hit it off, and I felt a sense of friendship with them by the time the conversation had ended. When their big day came, I was pleasantly surprised when their American Beach wedding was in fact a Beach House American Beach wedding! The house was settled beautifully in the dunes, with a quick, grassy beach path out to the ocean. Capturing their day was truly a blessing. They clearly showed how much they loved each other in every movement and gaze. I have found that I tear up a bit during the reciting of the vows (!), and nearly lost it when Andrew took a moment to bend down and kiss his bride's hand after placing the ring on her finger. Once the ceremony was over, we capture several family photos, then headed to the beach to take those romantic photographs you want to hang on your wall and remember forever. We have so many beautiful ones, that it was hard for me not to fill the page with every one, but I always provide the link with the full gallery at the bottom of my post. We squeezed in a bridal portrait, when one of my favorites was taken, before heading back to the house for the reception. The toast was amazing and had the bride in tears and the audience laughing- the perfect ending. Thank you so much, Carmen and Andrew, for such an enjoyable photography experience!
